A large magnificent antique landscape painting in a golden wooden frame. The scene shows a tranquil Alpine countryside with towering mountains, a winding river, rustic buildings, evergreen trees and a few farmers going about their daily lives. The painting was crafted on canvas in the second half of the 19th century. The canvas has been relined and the frame shows some restoration.
