The mid-20th century chairs feature carved beech frames with a natural finish. The frames have round cameo or balloon backs having a distinctive exposed rear side. The generous seats have a bowed front with carved rosettes on the corners in the neoclassical style. The frames are upholstered with a vintage mohair fabric bordered by brass tack nail heads. The chairs are strong and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The vintage fabric while slightly faded still shows well. The beech wood has a warm dark honey toned finish. The chairs are supported by tapered, fluted legs ending with toupie feet. Sold as a set of four.
