A wonderful abstract sculpture with a marble base, made of majolica or stoneware ceramic, very hard and compact, smooth to the touch and with a satin finish, glazed in various shades of green tending towards blue, the classic colors used in the works of Giuseppe Rossicone and his workshop. The sculpture is signed on the back with the signature "Rossicone" incised into the ceramic mixture with a metal nib and was created by Giuseppe Rossicone, founder of the factory, at the end of the 20th century. This particular type of abstract sculpture is among the most important and famous created by this artist. The Rossicone factory is an important Italian manufacturer that boasts the collaboration of many world-renowned artists.

The "Rossicone" workshop is a Milanese artistic ceramics workshop founded by Giuseppe Rossicone, where in the 1980s and early 1990s the painter and ceramist Ernesto Treccani created a large series of sculptures, which he presented at the Ada Zunino Gallery in exhibitions in 1982, '83, '87, '91, and '94. In the 1970s and 1980s, numerous artists created some of their works at the "Rossicone" kilns, including: Philippe Artias, Floriano Bodini, Remo Brindisi, Bruno Cassinari, Michele Cascella, Giovanni Dova, Franco Gentilini, Luigi Veronesi, Umberto Mastroianni, Pietro Morando, Aligi Sassu, Giuseppe Migneco, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Michele Cascella, and Ernesto Treccani. The factory is still in operation and produces artistic and designer ceramics.
