INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY!
This is a fantastic original Mid-Century oil on canvas by listed New York artist Dr. Patricia Hermine Sloane (1934-2001). Sloane was an American painter, author, and professor of Fine Arts. Her works have been displayed in some very prestigious institutions, including MoMA. She was best known for her Abstract Expressionism painting style with a close connection to the New York school movement. She was a member of the 10th Street Galleries (specifically the Camino Gallery) in New York City during the 1950s -1960s. Her works are hard to find and the few available have 5-figure asking prices
This is a great chance to own a very nice museum quality work by an extremely talented artist. This outstanding work is an homage to Alfred Eisenstaedt's industrial photography. It is signed and dated 1969 on the back. Titled "Planned Plant". We are selling it unframed since it would look amazing in any number of frame styles. A really wonderful work of art.
We bought a large chunk of her estate and we have both large and small scale pieces by Sloane. Please contact us if you are looking for a specific size, style, or color. We also have some personal items, original writings, and photographs.
Certification: Gallery Certificate of Authenticity included.
Condition: Very good condition. Only minor signs of age/handling. Some minor crazing around edges. Unframed.
Measurements: Painting is approx 54"x41". Can be hung any direction, but artist indicates on the back that it should be hung as shown here.
Shipping: This is an oversized item. Shipping to you is included but is quite costly. Unfortunately, we cannot afford "free RETURNs" on this one. If you're local and can pick-up, we can take lower offers. RETURNs subject to approval and buyer pays RETURN shipping. Any shipping damage is covered by Bradley Fine Art. Local delivery/hanging also available.
