This beautiful and large early 20th century antique Persian Sultanabad rug displays a gorgeous, all-over Sub-geometric design paired with a rich palette of light blue and burnt orange. The burnt orange field plays host to a wide variety of decorative palmettes and other flora. The two-tiered inner and outer guards are composed of repeating flower and Sub-geometric patterns, all rendered in lovely shades of burnt orange, light blue, ivory, red, and green, with charcoal outlines.
