This piece is of French make, though it varies from the typical French style some. The wood is darker than a lot of French pieces, but the dark tone suits this piece wonderfully. The detail and texture in the wood is very apparent in the front and creates a beautiful character for the server. The brass knobs and ornate key holes, accompanied by the hand carved detailing in the center soften the hard lines of the doors. The curved bottom, paired with the windowpane sides add the perfect finishing touch. This would be a beautiful piece to fill a dining room, or kitchen space but it could also work well in an entry way, living room, or office! See less
