The King table lamp is a design by Edy ten Berge from 1984. with this lamp he won an industrial design prize from the Benelux. This is the first version with a ceramic hood, the later version is equipped with a stainless steel hood. Edy ten Berge graduated from the TU Delft where he was involved with light in all kinds of ways. This design in which the light is captured by the acrylic tube is a beautiful elaboration of this knowledge. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
