One for … Read more A rare pair of Georgian period Bilston enamel on copper decanter labels with original dual link brass chain. One for Whiskey and the other for Brandy, each has a pink & burgundy stylized floral border with multicolored flower swags and sprigs in the typical 18th century style of Bilston enamel. Late 18th century to early 19th century.

In very good original condition for their age. The Whiskey label has enamel loss around 1/3 of the left chain hole, a linear area of enamel loss across the right chain hole, small enamel loss at the tip of the label, and hairlines in the enamel, mostly at the neck of the center arm. The Brandy has a hairline across the left chain hole, small enamel loss at the tip of the label, and small enamel loss at the right chain hole. See photos.

Dimensions of each are approximately 2" wide x 1 1/2" tall (without chain); 4 1/8" tall including the chain at full extension. See less
