This antique Persian Malayer runner, circa early 20th century, relies heavily on exquisite details as well as small-scale geometric florals. A fine trellis of beautifully colored motifs sprawls across the ice blue field, pulsating with alternating rhythms. The intricate design imbues the rug with a beautiful articulation of pattern. Colors include ice blue, rich red, nude, and ivory.
