Most likely made around the 1950s in france, this impressively sized, very comfy and charmingly decorative sofa will add quintessential french-chic styling to any setting. One of two of these delightful settees we have available, they would make ideal conservatory or garden room settees.

the sizeable and reassuringly heavy frame is made of wrought iron and contains beautiful, scrolled embellishments throughout. A custom-made board has been crafted to sit on the frame, upon which the plump, feather-filled and hand-stitched chocolate brown leather cushions sit to create an extremely cosy sofa.

all in all this is a very attractive, rare and eye-catching french wrought iron and leather-cushioned sofa.

condition
this is in good-to-very-good vintage condition. Beautifully crafted, impressively sized, reassuringly heavy and structurally sound, the frame has been repainted and is in wonderful condition. The custom-made leather cushions show to-be-expected minor marks and light scratches. Overall it's a gorgeous rare sofa in wonderful vintage condition and if well looked after it should be just as fabulous for generations to come – please see the photos.
