This lamp is a rare example of mid-century modern design, featuring a compact and elegantly executed mechanism that allows for adjustable height through an ingenious counter-balance and wire system. For us usage we could change the plug, or you can get a converter if needed for a floor or table lamp with transformer in it. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
