On a square and stepped base rests a pedestal in circular slab decorated with palm trees, the quality of the chiselled finish is so high that it is impossible to see the welding! Leafy connections in fusion support a sphere, a globe on which rests on tiptoe a winged angel, a cherub with perfect anatomy, with curls of hair and the plumage of the wings masterfully chiseled.

In the raised hand the cherubs hold the main torch of the candelabra with four flames in total, decorated with leafy motifs, palmettes and floral elements.

The entire fusion is well gilded with amalgam of mercury, and is played on the contrast between the opaque parts and the shiny ones burnished with agate stone. In the bobeiges and in the colacera plates, 4 mm holes have been made for the passage of the electric wires. Two minimal missing parts compatible with the dating, the candlestick with the raised right hand shows old restorations in correspondence with the garland and is missing the end of a leaf in the central light and the index finger of the angel's left hand.

The candlesticks have been cleaned (as shown in the photo); to perform this operation they were completely dismantled, each is composed of 38 pieces made by hand and under the base globe the numbers MB are punched, probably referring to the initials of the master performer.

They come from a private collection of a villa on Lake Como.
