Cast iron statue of a farmer holding a scythe, and standing next to a sheaf of wheat. Classical Roman style, with a face reminiscent of Michelangelo's David.
Statue was sculpted in France in the late 19th century, after a drawing by Mathurin Moreau (1822-1912). It was painted green; much of the paint has worn away.
