Rugs. Uniquely, Shahsavan rugs and carpets were woven in an area of Persia known as the Transcaucasus – located today in extreme Northwest Iran. Because of the distinct cultural influences of this unique geographic region, Shahsavan carpets tend to have more in common with tribal Caucasians. The runner that I am offering here comes from a part of my own collection, it is one of the most beautiful tribal rugs that I have ever owned, I never had any intention to put it up for sale but now is time for another Tribal & primitive rugs lover to enjoy it, I hope it goes to a good home, whoever ends up to own this must treasure it.. This Shahsavan runner is in awesome shape for its age, you don't have to spend a penny on it, as I have shown both ends ate totally intact, the entire rug has a low even flat pile without showing any foundation threads, and of course fabulous & well-balanced color combination with all-over pattern and awesome geometric motifs.
