Oz El Hai, born in Israel in 1976, channels his passion and energy into vivid abstract art and representational romantic paintings of women. Using a palette knife exclusively, Oz employs bold colors to create rich and energetic paintings that enchant viewers with an intense, yet tender, presence. A self-taught painter, Hai specializes in the use of oil and acrylic over canvas, wood, aluminium and lacquer materials “to create something uniquely mine,” said the Israel-born artist.

Drawing inspiration from Pablo Picasso fluid cubism style combined with his love of music and structured by his academic background in architecture, Hai creates vivid abstract feminine forms entwined with musical instrument representations surrounded by bold contrasting colors. Alternatively he paints over real musical instruments enhanced by rich colors in his vivid art masterpieces.Oz resides in his homeland of Israel after traveling the world. He has been painting professionally throughout his adult life. His work consists of spectacular abstracts, still lifes, landscapes drenched in color and stylized feminine forms.
