Hand knotted in durable wool pile, the copper brown background is enfolded within a finely woven, distinctly thin beige wrapping guard border; the latter colorway continuing into the geometric-floral motifs and complemented by hues of deep green and delicate yellow. Apart from the more open background design, additionally unique to this rug is perfectly vertical and horizontal symmetry in the medallion contrasted by the flowing, enfolding pattern of the inner border.
