The bud model pendant was produced in italy from 1973 to 1986 and with its futuristic design, typical of the space age period, it has become one of the most sought-after lighting pieces by collectors of 20th century design. The structure of this pendant is composed of a spherical cap in transparent thermoformed acrylic, with a brushed satin finish, and a semi-circular diffuser in transparent thermoformed acrylic supported by a chromed metal ring glued to the main body. To these three parts are added other beautiful details in chromed metal and a semi-spherical ceiling rose in white acrylic. Bud descends from the ceiling for 80cm in length but the measurements of the central body are 40cm in height by 40cm in diameter. The item working.
