Beautiful 1950s Chinese Chinoiserie Famille Rose Table Lamp depicting scholars and attendants in a domestic setting. It has a pierced brass base and brass top, both with beautiful patina.
Famille Rose is a style of Chinese porcelain decoration introduced in the 18th century, characterized by the use of pink overglaze enamel as the dominant color. The lamp has a white background with red decorative patterns and a red seal mark dating it to the mid-1950s.
