In the work, Hills offers advice from the point of view of an experienced trout fisher. The author fished in many rivers, but he considered the Test to be the greatest trout river in the world.
Illustrated by Norman Wilkinson, a British artist, who was known for being a marine painter. He invented dazzle painting, which was used to protect merchant shipping in the First World War.
Containing twelve illustrated plates, collated and complete.
