And when he retired at the turn of the millennium he took, not to drink, but to the brush. That was over 25 years ago and what has he done since retiring? Even more art!! Ed has been a fixture at the Chicago Palette and Chisel Club not only in the capacity as a trustee and manager but as an encourager and inspiration to younger artists just getting their start.
His watercolors now are actively sought after by his circle of admirers and collectors. This lovely little vignette was inspired by a trip to Italy some years ago when he noticed each boat painted a primary color. He painted these boats as a memory of that time. See less
