Done in Sanguine on paper the nude appear like Hercule . The feel and look of the works while academic studies are very detailed in relation to musculature and pose. These could then be preparatory studies for a larger more complete work in oil but without further study, all is conjecture beyond the obvious images which show great skill in rendering, and detail and an understanding of anatomy and the medium used
Could be done in 17 century but the frame is not so old .
