The front panel folds down to reveal a fully outfitted writing slope with slotted compartments for stationery, two small drawers with brass knobs, and a glass inkwell with original brass cap. The lid opens to an inner panel lined in embossed leather marked “Rd 173368”, indicating a high-quality retailer or binder. Original brass campaign handles adorn the sides, with functional lock and key intact.
