I believe it is carnival glass but some might call it art glass. It has a quality that makes it seem to catch the colors near it, especially near the handle. I have observed both a pinks and violet glow, depending upon how the light hit it. The bottom is embossed with hanging berries or grapes and vines.

It is in perfect condition! It measures 9 3/4" diameter and the bowl stands 1 3/4" tall. At the handle it is about 4 1/4" tall. See less
