Design Plus Gallery presents a Black Lacquered with Mother of Pearl Detailed Inlaid Scholar Chest from 1970's Korea. There are dual bi-foldable doors behind which is a spacious book storage area with four side by side drawers above. The drawers are decorated with florals and cranes, symbolizing marital harmony, longevity + wealth. Mother of Pearl over black lacquer create a micro-mosaic of inlay. The cabinet is in good condition for its vintage age + use.
