This is a truly wonderful Mid Century Italian serving tray on folding stand. It has been beautifully gilded, and the tray face has the classic "La Sphere Artificielle 1717" illustration on it. This piece will be perfect for someone furnishing a home who loves the rich history of European craft and decor.
Materials: Wood, Gild, Paint, Ink, Paper
Standing, the tray measures: 24" wide x 20 1/2" depth x 20 5/8" height.
The stand legs/ feet on ground measure: 14 3/4" wide x 14 3/4" depth.
When the stand is folded it measures: 30" x 20 1/2" x 2 1/2".
Weight: 4lb 7oz

It has scratches, marks and indentations in places. The most noticeable is "the white" under the gilding showing through on the edge of one corner of the tray (see pic). The illustration is stained in places. I've tried to capture some of these discrepancies in the listing pics. Saying that, the markings and indentations do not dominate the look of this piece, in fact they even add to its aesthetic and vibe. The tray stands and folds fine. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of its exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The item photos serve as a document as to its condition. less
