"Ourika Valley" is an expressionist abstract landscape oil painting on canvas. The palette is vibrant with a wide range of warm colors, including yellow, chartreuse, bright green, pink, amber and tan as well as a hint of black, white and a hint of robin's egg blue green. The bright colors contrast so well with the more muted soft ones. The brushwork is confident with free spirited brushstrokes that range from thin transparent layers to thick and opaque strokes.
