This vintage 5x14 Persian Kilim is believed to be a tribal gallery runner from Meshkin—a small Northwest Persian village known for its fabulous works. Handwoven in wool, it originates circa 1950-1960.
Its design favors a clean approach to traditional geometric patterns and particularly rich colors. Keen eyes will note an especially present burgundy, black and orange tones, and a midnight blue accent in the series of medallions. It’s a piece of natural movement and rich presence, and its gallery runner size is a versatile design feature.
Condition:
This mid-century Northwest Persian flat weave further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. It’s ready for the floor, and is available with or without our custom non-slip padding upon request.
