due to its construction, it is correspondingly robust yet lightweight due to the material.
the body is made of wood, which is covered with painted canvas and decorated with motifs typical of this era.
there are also metal reinforcements at the corners and wooden struts on the top and bottom.
the interior is lined with paper.

-lockable, keys are unfortunately no longer present
-two of the rear lid hinges are broken

the d.r.p. Imprint on the lid edge stands for "deutsche reichspatent" (german reich patent).
