A monumental sculptural floor vase at 121 cm — one of the tallest, most commanding pieces in the collection. SKEW takes an asymmetric, slightly off-axis form that lends it a sense of slow movement, as though it has settled into place rather than simply been set down. In grey composite, the surface holds the cool, mineral quality of aged stone — dense, geological, entirely hand-built.

Each vessel is constructed by hand in successive layers, and every layer behaves a little differently depending on pressure, drying conditions, and how the material chooses to settle. The balance of recycled paper pulp, organic cement, and mineral binder was arrived at through long experimentation — the aim being a surface that resists water and impact while still reading as living, geological stone. Because of this, no two pieces ever finish the same way.

Natural variation isn't hidden here — it's the whole intention. Cracks, shifts in the surface, and unpredictable texture aren't faults; they're the point. Imperfection as a way to create beauty.
