Vintage Turkish Oushak Rug with Faded Ivory, Olive Brown, and Taupe 5'6 x 8'6. Keivan Woven Arts / Rug, EN-176336, country of origin / type: Turkey / Oushak, circa 1940.
This vintage Turkish Oushak rug features a dramatic stepped diamond medallion design rendered in soft ivory and olive brown, set against a timeworn taupe ground. The field is framed by a spacious corner motif layout, each quadrant carefully detailed in coordinating tones, adding balance to the central medallion. A layered border of floral and scrolling motifs in light beige and sand adds decorative richness without overpowering the composition. The washed patina and subdued palette enhance the rug’s quiet elegance, making it a refined addition to traditional, transitional, or rustic spaces seeking warmth and depth.
