Vintage mahogany dining chairs by Borneo International c. 1980, fully refinished and reupholstered in a mint green wool.
The slatted backs and curved back rests evoke Danish mid century designs by Henning Sorensen for Danex and Hans Frydendal for Boltinge.
The mahogany frames, somewhat uncommon among Danish modern chairs, refinished to reddish golden color with grain that shimmers in direct sunlight. The slatted backs are elegant in profile and provide the perfect amount of lower back support.
