This flag is very rare being an early one with the staggered star design. Made from glazed cotton. This flag is set in an age related frame and is under glass. Size of frame is 12.5”x 10.3/4” and the flag is 6.1/4”x 3.5”. All measurements are approximate. The 45 Star American Flag lasted 12 years under 3 Presidents. Grover Cleveland 1893- 1897. William McKinley 1897- 1901, and Theadore Roosevelt 1901- 1908. The 45 Star Flag was for the inclusion of Utah January 1896. This flag was the official flag during the Spanish American war 1898. This is an American made flag and frame. A great piece of American folk art history. See less
