Vincent's oeuvre typically blends landscape and figures; in this early painting, he has done so seamlessly without his signature collage work. That being said, this piece is a lovely standalone, boasting a vivacious color palette. Although an abstract work, this painting contains a wealth of detail in mark making and movement.

Vincent depicts his vision of the individual in western society, plagued by social and environmental crises, in an engaging manner. His work is both abstract and figurative combining acrylic and collage on canvas. His highly colorful montages are populated by some recognizable characters mixed with fantastical creatures in highly imaginative scenarios. The collaged imagery is appropriated from old yearbooks, Time magazines and other periodicals.

A professional artist since 2002, Vincent graduated from Hoffberger School of Painting at the Maryland Institute of Art in 2012 and now resides in Buffalo, New York. See less
