The hinged lid features elegant crossbanded edges and opens to reveal a fitted interior for knives, accented with satinwood stringing and inlaid diamond motifs.

The front is delicately inlaid with a classical leaf and vine wreath terminating in a bow at the base, while the sides are crossbanded to complement the lid. The interior of the lid is embellished with an inlaid olive wood patera, centered by a fan motif in satinwood, showcasing the cabinetmaker’s attention to detail and refined craftsmanship.
