The coasters haves a handsome Art Deco ribbed design and are in very good condition with a few minor scuffs, measuring 4.75 in. diameter. The coaster is marked CHRISTOFLE / FRANCE on the base with Christofle's "OC" oval/rectangular mark and a knight chess figure in a square box flanked by "O" and "C" letters, an abbreviation of Orfevrerie Christofle used between 1935 and 1983 to signify silver plated metal.
