A warm bronze-colored patina, the jardinière is decorated with floral ornamentation and graceful lines, characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. Equipped with elegant handles.
A special detail is the original inner tray is completely intact. Very hard to find with a good liner and almost impossible to find with the matching mirrored plateau. The jardinière is marked DÉPOSÉ 502, indicating this piece is officially registered French design.
The matching mirrored plateau is also in the Art Nouveau style and together with the jardinière is an amazing find. These are rarely preserved in their original condition and with both pieces still together.
Suitable as a centerpiece on a table or sideboard, would look amazing with floral, or without and add a cloche over the set. Perfect for collectors of the finest French antiques. See less
