They feature a leaf back and x detailing on the arms. Literally every inch of the chair is carved to resemble branches and leaves. These are not marked but are surely Italian. I can only find 1 set of 4 and the fabric was not clean. These have clean upholstery done in a deep teal and cream stripe. You could reupholster but you do not need to . You could lacquer the chairs white or a color but do not need to. These are an Art Nouveau design brought more modern. The chairs are all hand carved and doweled. STUNNING!

Condition: Structurally solid. Variations naturally to the original wood finish. Clean upholstery. Some join lines on the leaves are more visible than others. We see this with the Italian shell chairs. These chairs are hand carved.
