After completing his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker, he worked for several furniture manufacturers before opening his own workshop, where he developed a distinctive style inspired by Danish functionalism and human-centered design. After World War II, he capitalized on the post-war consumer boom and the growing interest in Scandinavian design, selling his elegant furniture to international markets and collaborating with other manufacturers. Drawn to organic forms and fluid lines, he transformed traditional furniture into pieces with imaginative curves, most notably with his Capri line for Trensum and the Allegra bar stool. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
