Description of the item:
Beautiful, elegant pair, coffee pot and sugar bowl, in fine vitrified hard-paste porcelain, entirely hand-decorated with geometric patterns reminiscent of heraldic coats of arms and crosses, enriched with pure gold decorations. Signed under the base with the "Manifattura Ginori" mark inside an oval with a star in the center, all written in red, one of the Ginori di Doccia marks used in the late 1700s or the first half of the 19th century, the period to which this sugar bowl and coffee pot date. The handle of the coffee pot is particularly beautiful, circular at the top and elongated at the bottom, on the lower attachment. The two fluted handles of the sugar bowl and the knobs of both lids, with an octagonal base and pyramidal shape, are also very beautiful. All these elements are in Empire style, enamelled in black in stark contrast to the milky white of the main body of the two objects.
