Crafted in England between 1740 and 1760, the mirror features a gracefully shaped crest above a convex frame, all surrounding the original antiqued mirror that exudes authentic 18th-century charm. What sets this piece apart is its exquisite chinoiserie decoration—its surface hand-painted with delicate, Eastern-inspired scenes that were highly fashionable during the period. The overall effect is both refined and whimsical, making it a standout addition to any traditional or eclectic interior.

The mirror is in good antique condition with the expected wear (as pictured.) The painted frame is beautifully aged with a crazed finish throughout - this painted finish also has dings, cracks, and scratches (as pictured.) These signed of age and wear do not detract from its beauty, and in fact add to the overall look. The antique mirror does have scratches and some black spots as shown in the included images - each section indicated with a green border.
