This high quality model 'Roma' table light was created by the well-known Danish glass and porcelain designer Anne Grethe von Halling-Koch in 1989.
The lamp is part of her series named after historic Italian city names like 'Florence' and 'Siena'. Holmegaard glassworks manufactured the quality glass parts for table lights produced by Royal Copenhagen.
The elegant piece features a neo-classical vase-shaped base in opaline glass with a hand-folded fabric lampshade. Typical for Danish table lamps, the lampshade is clamped onto the light bulb.
