It is flat woven carpet - woven using traditional technique. This rug is dyed in shades of rustic red, pink and purple with a strongly accentuated, single medallion, placed in the central part of the rug. It is hand-made, where every detail is thought out and refined.

This Hamadan hand knotted oriental rug was made in Iran during the 1960s. Traditionally flatwoven, and dyed in shades of rustic red and indigo blue. Hamadan rugs are traditionally hand-knotted rugs from the Hamadan region in western Iran.

The rug is in original vintage condition. It has signs of wear due to age, fabric loss, abrasions and damage to the fleece. The rug will be professionally cleaned and ready for use before shipping.
