This antique table from France features an oblong-demi shaped white marble top, atop a rounded apron, adorned with repeating and floral ribbon motif trimmings. The table is presented upon four gently tapering and fluted cylindrical legs, with square shaped carved rosettes at their ankles, just above their peg style feet. The legs are braced with a pair of beautifully-carved and shapely wooden-stretcher bars, which have short curved braces which continue in the same fashion, with an oval shape support at their intersecting middle parts. The table has a light finish which compliments the original white marble top with elegance. This late 18th century French demi-lune console with marble top will make an attractive and welcoming foyer table, or excellent addition to a living or dining room space See less
