The classic … Read more This mid-century Swedish modern Egon Ostergaard rosewood cylinder rolltop secretary desk cabinet was made in Sweden circa 1960. The classic Scandinavian modern design has clean, minimalist lines and gentle curves. The rosewood is deep and rich in color with beautiful natural grain. The rolltop opens on a top compartment with small drawers and cubbies and has a slide-out tabletop writing surface. There are three spacious lower drawers with sculpted inset wooden handles. This versatile piece is perfect for the living room or home office and can be used as a desk, storage cabinet, dresser, bar cabinet, etc. Numbered (88375) and marked with Made in Sweden 528 label on underside.

CONDITION
Good vintage condition with general wear including scuffs and marks and some veneer chips. Some lifting to veneer along back edge of top ledge. Some paneling loss at very bottom corners of the backside of cabinet. Ink stain in small upper drawer. Key is a replacement. Key opens and closes rolltop but does not lock. Top drawer locks with key.
