On the Design:
Connoisseurs may note that this piece is believed to be a Mashwani rug—a celebrated provenance of traditional Afghan carpets especially known for their tight knotting and dark hues. Its geometric pattern is a play of diamonds and tribal motifs in burgundy red, rust and midnight blue colors with a fabulous sense of movement from the center.
Condition:
This mid-century tribal rug enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Furthermore, its promotional price is in support of the women of Afghanistan.
