Beautiful and highly rare vintage (1970s-80s) Thomasville Embassy Line Queen-size Headboard Unit. In remarkably good condition for era. Features a classic Asian-influenced style of rich and heavily grained fruitwood (pecan) patina accented with ebony lacquered trim details and brass hardware. Gorgeous marquetry details on the face.
Absolutely replete with storage and more storage! Includes two tall side cupboards with shelves, drawers, and pullout shelf. Headboard contains three capacious cubby sections great for pillows, bedding, etc. and with drop-down shelves to provide accessible storage for smaller items.
All doors and drawers open and close perfectly smoothly and fit tightly.
Although it presents as a unified wall unit, this headboard set is modular, made up of five separate units, allowing for easier moving and setup.

Headboard "cabinet" with three-section deep storage divided by lift-up shelf.
Two tall Shelf/Drawer cabinets with pullout dressing/nightstand shelves.
Central mirror unit.
Overhead lightning unit.

Please note minor flaws as shown in close-up photos. Original mirrors were lost, at some point; one of the mirrors shows a flaw at one corner, although there is no spreading crack or other damage to the surface. Mirrors could, of course, be replaced, either with new of the same, or go another route with artwork, even upholstery or wallpaper.
Other minor flaws include wear on some hardware finish, specifically cupboard knobs on left side, and typical surface scuffs.
