From the dovetails … Read more This Carved Wall Panel which can be hung vertically or horizontally is visually a talking point .
From the dovetails at each end of the panel it tells that it may have originated from the front of a large wooden chest ….interestingly it also has what appears to be a keyhole .
At the rear of the panel it has recessed grooves at each end suggesting that it may have been attached to a larger piece.
This is carved from a single panel …look at the rear and you can see the full grain effect of how the panel was originally cut through the tree center. See less
