Vintage French Country Louis XVI Style Cane Settee Carved Mahogany & Gilded
Inspired by the elegance of the Louis XVI era, this antique cane settee features beautifully carved details, fluted legs, and gold-painted ribbon accents. The dark-stained frame appears to be solid mahogany or walnut—remarkably heavy, structurally sound, and built to last. The cane is completely intact with no breakage, and the 3.5" thick floral seat cushion remains in excellent condition. The caning has aged gracefully, though some areas could be updated with a wood stain to restore original richness if desired. The right arm does has some nicks, but easily mask - see photo ten. At 53" wide with an interior seat width of 47", this settee comfortably fits two. Perfect for an entryway, bedroom, or even as a unique office settee—this piece brings romantic French style to any space. There are three accent pillows included.
