The upholstery of this elegant desk chair has been renewed once and is still in good condition. The seat features spring padding. The seat shell has a spring-loaded tilt mechanism underneath that can be adjusted to suit your body weight and is rotatable. The seat has slight lateral play. The original mauser branding has been retained on the back of the seat. The desk chair's height is not adjustable. This object: the classic mauser desk chair from the 1950s is still very much in keeping with the design of bauhaus-era furniture. The rather delicate upper section rests on a sturdy column that tapers to a four-star base. The swivel and tilt feature of the chair make it comfortable to work in. Unlike many modern desk chairs, it is attractive and designed with classic, modern elegance. See less
