Monumental old growth redwood executive desk with copper detailing. Custom made in the late 1960s for a cabin in Big Sur, the copper panels on the front and sides have developed a patina that only time and seaside air can impart.
Hammered copper dove figures adorn the top, covering a natural imperfection in the wood. Traces of bark beetle along the edges add to its authentic rusticity.
With a wingspan of 113", this desk is a centerpiece in even the largest of offices. The base stands approximately 80” wide, allowing ample space for filing cabinets as needed. It would also serve perfectly as a reception desk at a boutique hotel or high end restaurant.
